Tragedy on the Bitterroot

Just after we posted the high water notice and our concern for safety on the river, we received news that a fellow guide drowned on the East Fork of the Bitterroot. He and his wife were floating and flipped their raft. She made it to shore, he did not. We don't know the details, but we are saddened by the news. No names will be posted until it hits the news and the families are notified.

Please, if you choose to float, be safe!!!!
