On February 18 we flew United Airlines to Buenos Aires. After spending a day exploring that amazing city we flew an Argentinean Airline, LAN, to a beautiful town at the base of the Andes called Bariloche. From there we went north to fish Rios Chimehuin, Malleo and Collon Cura in the Nuequen District of Argentina.

It was my second trip to northern Patagonia and Merle’s first. This year my newsletter is focused on one story. We floated, fished and camped on Rio Chimehuin near the town of Junin de los Andes. Click on one of the links to read about it.

We have updated our website and added a few pages. Please take a look, let us know what you think and if it meets your needs. A couple of tools to help you plan your trip are a weather forecast on every page and a link to hydrographs of all the rivers we float.

"Of the many species of fish, each has its own special appeal, but none has the universal charisma of the trout...of all fish, the trout demands the most of the angler...and gives the most in return."
