Peter fished with us years ago, in the late 1990’s, with his family and we often thought of him. Recently, he called to say he never forgot us either and was coming to Montana, did we have some time for him. The answer was yes!

Jeremy sent these terrific photos with this note:
Jack,
Thank you for a great time fishing on Saturday. Becky and I enjoyed it and learned a lot. We will definitely be coming back for more. Here are some pics for your website.
Thanks again,
Jeremy Anderson
Thank you, Jeremy and Becky. Jack really enjoyed his day with both of you.

Jack fished the Missouri River with his son-in-law, Marshall Knick. It was coming up, the water was a bit cloudy but the managed to hook some fish. Jack caught this fish and Marshall is holding it. Josh Lauer has a photo of Marshall and the bigger brown that he caught. When Josh sends it to us, I will post it, too.
I had to include photos of Jack’s daughter, Hannah – of course married to Marshall, and their son’s Tristen and Tait!
See the photos in the Picasa slideshow below.

Jack and I float fished the Bitterroot a few days ago. We caught fish, but it was a bit “off.” The water was slightly turbid and it seemed to be rising. Well, it was! It went up nearly 300 cubic feet per second (CFS) that day to become 2000 CFS in the middle-river. Today it looks like it will reach 4000 CFS. It is warm and they are expecting rain.

We caught fish, mostly in the afternoon during a mayfly hatch and the birds were extremely active. I ended up taking about 500 photos of fish we caught, scenery of course, our puppy, flowers, Hooded Mergansers, Osprey, geese, mayfies and more. Consequently, I am really busy editing them and haven’t done a post recently. Today I will post a few teaser photos. I will do more and a slideshow as soon as I can.
Check back soon to see if this osprey comes up with a fish!
