From their deserted beaches to the dry coastal and then misty inland tropical forests, more than 27% of the country&#8217;s area is protected. This attracts visitors eager to partake in the <em>pura vida<\/em>, the &#8220;pure life&#8221; of Costa Rica. <\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Visit these links to a travel site on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lonelyplanet.com\/costa-rica\"target=\"_blank\">Lonely Planet.com<\/a>, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.state.gov\/r\/pa\/ei\/bgn\/2019.htm\"target=\"_blank\">US Department of State<\/a> site, or do an internet search of your own.
