Tom fished with Jack for a number of days on the Blackfoot, Bitterroot and then the Big Hole River where his friend Dick joined him. Here are some photos that Tom sent to us. Here is an excerpt from his message when he sent the photos.
Yes—had a great time with Jack on the Blackfoot, the Bitterroot, and the Big Hole rivers. Jack did an absolutely tremendous job—-helped coach me in a positive and constructive way— every step of the way —-gave me the best possible chance to catch a fish at every opportunity all day long on every river—-hardest working guide I have ever seen. Fantastic trip—-look forward to coming again.
And here is a slideshow with more photos. Again, Thanks Tom for sending the photos. It takes a minute for the slideshow to load, be patient.
Jack Mauer caught this pike in the lower Bitterroot in mid-March 2016.
